INFO
A show of great involvement and rare intensity.
A show that amazed and moved the audience to tears […] suggestions evoked by the use of pyrotechnic effects, flying machinery, lights and video projections, expertly harmonized by Ondadurto Teatro crew.
COMUNE DI ROMA – online press (Italy)
Drom… a forza di essere vento is a strong visual impact show, which has a sharp point of view: their point of view, that of the Romani, foreigners in a land that do not want them.
A careful game of echoes between reality and poeticalness, between the dreamy freedom and the harshness of daily life.
Huge size performance characterized by great figures, objects over dimensioned and fireworks.
The mythical theme of man and his nature: a fantastic trip between two cultures in dialogue.
At the background on a screen are projected pictures of refugees camp, their own photos, their smiles, their fears, their daytime, thanks to the shots that have been following the creation of this show during one year hard work.
A theatre company meeting a Romani group, works with their children and involves actively the whole community: this was Drom… a forza di essere vento
